Jupiter 15th October 2010

This is today’s view of the planet Jupiter as seen earlier this morning. The image is not too great due to a slightly poor astmosphere.

The left hand side of the picture shows the alignment of the 4 Galilean moons of Jupiter whixh most of you will be able to see through a decent telescope.

But these 4 moons are not the only moons around Jupiter. There are in fact 63 documunted moons around Jupiter whixh are too small for us to see through our telescopes.
