Double Star – STF 1964

This picture was taken this morning of a double star called STF 1964 .

Double Stars are a pair of stars seen next to each other when viewed through a telescope and will be either stars which are gravitationally bound to each other, or they are stars which are actually at a great distance from each other and appear as double stars only due to a chance alignment of these stars.
