Where is Pluto? – 29th September 2010

Somewhere in this vast region of stars in the picture below, you will be able to find Pluto.

The bad news is that Pluto looks like any one of the millions of stars out there so it is pretty hard to find.

But have a go. See if you can spot where Pluto is in this picture taken a few hours ago. We will give you two tips….. Pluto is near the center of the picture. And if that big tip doesn’t help, the inset picture in the bottom right hand corner points the dwarf planet out to you. It is one of three diagonal stars in the main picture.
