Orion Nebula – Sep 20th 2010
This is an image taken of the Orion Nebula today under less than desirable conditions with a little bit of haze in the air as well as light from an ever brightening moon.
However, despite these hurdles, the picture taken today shows how incredible this emission nebula is and ou can see a lot of detail of the nebula.
The Orion Nebula is also known as M42 and is the closest region of massive star formation to us.
