Processing Images – Mars (Part 2 of 2)

The exposures were a little blurred in places and this has come out in the final result, but not a bad picture of Mars overall.

This shows an example of how you can bring out a fair amount of detail which is not evident in the source exposures.

We gave the planet a much more increased red shade of color to highlight some of the differences in the Martian landscape.

In the picture below, the image on the left is the first result from the image processing while the image on the right has been modified to remove marks and some blemishes in the results.
