New Asteroid Map now on Sydney Asteroid Watch

I have added a new feature to the Sydney Asteroid Watch section of the site.

The Asteroid Map will be updated on a daily basis and will show the current name and locations of all the asteroids which have passed Earth in the last week or so.

On the map, the current name of the asteroid will be found within brackets. This will be followed by the date at which the asteroid passed by Earth at it’s nearest distance.

The picture above shows a sample of the map .  You can see the map updates on a daily basis at

Sydney Asteroid Watch will now also  list the asteroids which will be passing the Earth within the next 3 days.
